Powerbuilder 2017R2 Migration from TFS to GIT/BitBucket

April 23, 2019

We have several mature Powerbuilder 2017R2 applications currently using TFS for source control.

We would like to move to GIT/Bitbucket, but are having issues with migrating the history to GIT, mainly due to the way GIT stores the Powerbullder source as objects in a "PBLs" directory structure, rather than individual exported objects (as TFS does).

One of our people found a way to "move" the history with "Rename/Copy" to the same structure and then migrate the source history, but the history is stored separately and can't be compared with new changes.

Any suggestions/solutions are welcome. Thanks
