I've run all the commands on this page and nothing appears to be working.  It appears that bfg is deleting the big files but when I check the repo it's still there.

The repo is freshfieldsorders/freshfields and it's on the develop branch.  There are two .tgz files in a folder called archive that I pushed in error and I'm not able to get rid of them.

Please help.

Cheers,

Keith

Hi Keith, welcome to the Community!

We can not remove or alter files from your repository on your behalf. If you're having difficulties getting rid of those files you added by mistake, the easiest way to fix it would to create a new repository and copy into it only the files you want to keep. I'd recommend copying these files one by one and not just copy/pasting the whole directory, please pay special attention not to copy the .git directory to the new one. The instructions to create a new repository can be found at Create a git-repository

I hope this helps you, Keith. If you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to let us know.

Kind regards,

Ana
