Pipeline git push: Host key verification failed.

Pipeline step:

Error during push

I've confirmed (also recreated keys) the key is present on the remote host in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys.

My understanding of this error is that the client cannot verify the identity of the remote host, therefore you need the entry in ~/.ssh/known_hosts for this to work.
