Overage protection for the free plan?

Hi!

Is it correct that I will never be billed under the free plan? If I accidentally use to many build minutes or storage, I will only lose access to the resources?

The worst case scenario I am concerned with is if my account gets hacked and used for bitcoin mining or something similar and I get charged with the cost? Is that possible?

Hi Daniella.

No, you won't be charged just because you reach the build minutes or storage limits of the Bitbucket Free plan. Those limits cannot be exceeded while staying on the Free plan; you would need to upgrade to a paid plan to use additional capacity.

Hello @Daniella 

A current Free subscription cannot incur automatic Pipelines/LFS overage fees. Older Free workspaces only incurred these charges if the owner enabled paid extra usage and provided billing information.
