Hi,

We have some of our project files in assembla SVN, We would like to migrate them all into Bit Bucket. So how could we import them or migrate them to bit bucket? Let me know the easy and also the possible ways.

Thank You.

Hi Sridevi, welcome to the Community!

This process will involve 2 steps. Since Bitbucket doesn't support SVN, you'll need to migrate your projects to one of the two distributed version systems that are supported: Mercurial or Git. You can find the instructions at:

Once you're using Git or Mercurial, it comes the easy part, you can start using Bitbucket. I assume you were referring to Bitbucket Cloud, so here are the steps you can follow to get started:

I hope this helps you :) If you have any questions let us know!

Best regards,

Ana
