As usual I can't wrap my head around git enough to clean my own repo.

Also would be appreciative of a good git tutorial so I can do this myself in the future, I've read the webpage documentation but just not able to grasp it yet, I guess.
I already screwed up one of my other repos trying it and had to delete and start over from local backup to get everything working correctly again lol. Thanks!
