My login asks for 2FA and doesn’t sync

We liked the idea of 2FA, then tried to set up two factor authentication but now that it’s enabled it just doesnt generate the 2FA code. So we can’t use it because the two factor doesn’t work, but the email we use still works?

So yes there is an email account access that we used to set up the two factor authentication but that’s just turned into a complete dead end as it won’t generate 2FA codes unless we side step the whole 2FA process and sign in via email which is the whole point we wanted to avoid.

We now just have to re-enter the email account through the social sign in.

I feel like we put locks on the doors but the locks don’t work so we just put a brick in the door to keep the door open because we can’t unlock the door if it closes.
