I am not able to log in to Bitbucket after changing my Atlassian email. Both jira and confluence are fine after logging in. But Bitbucket asked me to verify email address and after verifying, it still asks me to verify email address.

Replicate steps:

  1. Open an account in jira/confluence/bitbucket
  2. Change email address in Atlassian personal account settings
  3. Log out current session
  4. Login with new email address
  5. Try to go to bitbucket and it starts to asking for email verifications

Am I alone? Thanks.

Hi Paul, welcome to the Community!

I understand that you were having trouble trying to access Bitbucket Cloud. Are you still experiencing this issue? I can see that there are 2 email addresses associated to your account, it could be that you were entering the secondary one and Bitbucket was trying to verify which address your wanted as the primary.

If you are still having difficulties, please repeat those steps again but using a different browser and let us know how it goes. It will also help if you send us screenshots of the process.

Regards,

Ana

Hi Ana,

I have re-tried with my new email address the next day. The issue resolved. Seems to me it was a caching issue.

Anyway, all good now.

Thank you,

Paul
