Today our Jira instance stopped accepting our Google Authenticator MFA codes. It was working this morning then all of a sudden stopped working. None of my virtual machine snapshots I've reverted to over the past couple days allow for MFA codes to be accepted either. The only changes I've been making this morning are nginx reverse proxy configurations, but again, I reverted to previous snapshots from previous days that are supposed to be working.
I at least have the emergency code that worked to login but I can't disable MFA for everyone just for myself. Not everyone has the emergency code either which means they have no way of logging in, does anyone have any idea of what's going on? What I should do in this situation?
For temporary access I was thinking of recreating their account but that means unassigning everyone to all their tasks, projects, and issues which will take forever.
