Let's say you are considering moving your company from another product to the Atlassian suite. If we chose to purchase the FedRAMP Moderate gov cloud version of Jira and Confluence, what would we do about BitBucket? Would we need a data center version of BitBucket? Would it integrate with the gov cloud tools? Or could we keep our current source code management tools?
Hi @Aprildelay ,
you can choose Cloud or DataCenter bitbucket solution to store your source code or you could choose to remain on the current SCM (if it is a standard like GitHub/GitLab that could be integrated with JIRA Cloud). Itis your choise.
Hope this jelps,
Fabio
Just to add on this - I think I've seen it on Team or somewhere that Bitbucket should be added to Gov cloud in 2027 or potentially 2028, but there's no public/official information on that 👀
In the meantime, you could check this with Atlassian Gov Cloud team by contacting them via this form: https://www.atlassian.com/government/contact
