Is it possible to send links from Jira to a BitBucket repo?

I know we can shoot links from bitbucket repo commits to jira using smart commits, bu not sure visa versa.

Not quite sure about the vise-versa, you should be able to view the Bitbucket Server branches, commits and pull requests related to work on the Jira issue key. - See all related branches, commits and pull requests in an issue
