Is it possible to compare two different files on two different branches in Data Server Bitbucket?

My colleagues push each change with a change in file name.  When they need to compare the file in two different commits, the two files are named differently.  Diff ends up being the whole file contents.   I see it can be done in git.  Can it be done in Bitbucket on the UI?

I was able to reproduce what you describe. When renaming properly Bitbucket will detect this as a rename in a PR. But when you compare 2 commits it shows the file as a new file in the diff.
