Invitations sent after tremendous delay

Recently, when trying to send invites on created repository from our Bitbucket, some of the invitations take a really long time before being sent. (up to  30+ minutes some times)
Is there any thing we can do to fix that as we use repositories to test candidates and need timed invitations for that.
