We are a customer using your service via Google OAuth (Sign in with Google).
Currently, our company uses the domain [REDACTED] under Google Workspace, and our users log in to your service with email addresses on that domain.
We would like to inform you that only the Google Workspace domain will be changed soon, while the underlying Google accounts will remain the same.
For example, [REDACTED] will be changed to user@newdomain.com, but the user account itself will stay intact.
Could you please confirm whether this domain change might impact our ability to sign in via Google OAuth or access existing user data and settings on your service?
Hi @mark
We have documentation regarding this here: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-cloud/kb/how-to-change-google-apps-domain-in-atlassian-cloud-instances/
As long as you update the domain in Google Workspace and sync users as described, your users will continue to sign in via Google OAuth and retain access to all their existing data and settings in Atlassian products. No data will be lost, and the transition should be seamless for end users
If you need further assistance - please raise a support ticket as this is not something that should be discussed on a public forum such as community due to the potential for sharing sensitive information - I've redacted your domain details above:
If you have issues raising a ticket, please let me know your timezone so I can raise one on your behalf with the team that operates in your region.
Cheers!
- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
