I use emoji's in my commit messages, I like that at a glance I can find bug fixes, new features etc, however, in order to use the emoji's I have to pollute my commit message with a non descriptive word. eg for a bugfix i use :ambulance:, it would be better if it was :bugfix: so anyone could easily understand what the commit was for.
Would it be possible to add aliases that could replace a word with an emoji. This would be the best of both worlds, a descriptive comment, and a illustrative emoji that both mean the same thing.
