Is it possible to import an existing repo when two-factor authentication is required for that repo?

I tried to import providing the necessary credentials, but it does not work because "authentication fails".

Hi @ngoc.duong , welcome to the Community!

If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your account you'll need to create an app password on your Bitbucket account. You can find the instructions at App Passwords:

  1. From your avatar in the bottom left, click Bitbucket settings.
  2. Click App passwords under Access management.
  3. Click Create app password.
  4. Give the app password a name related to the application that will use the password.
  5. Select the specific access and permissions you want this application password to have.
  6. Copy the generated password and either record or paste it into the application you want to give access. The password is only displayed this one time.

Please try the steps above and let us know if this helped you.

Best regards,

Ana
