I logged into bitbucket but it says "Connect Offline" and I do not see the proj in Team Explorer

I clone a project using SourceTree and got the proj downloaded to my local machine. I opened the proj and tried to connect via Team Explorer to the remote server. I was able to Login but it still says at the top Connect Offline and I don't see the project. Can someone please tell me what the issue may be?
