Hello,
I regularly use SourceTree and commit changes to my active Bitbucket repository. I have set up public/private keys for doing so more than a year ago. But I don't know anymore which of my accounts actually hold that workspace.
git@bitbucket.org:<my workspace name>/<my project name>.git
Since these questions are made public, I don't want to write the workspace name and project name here.
Unfortunetaly, all the local text files don't contain the email-address, which is associated to this workspace.
Can anybody at the bitbucket-team get in touch with me and I will share all the needed information privately. I would need the email-address, which holds that workspace. Then I will either directly log in or reset the password.
Thank you!
Hi @ST
You'll need to check your local git config, this records the email address that's used to perform DVCS operations such as commits.
If you've ever interacted with the repository via the command line, you can also run the following git command:
git config --list
I hope this helps.
Cheers!

Hi @Ben ,
thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, my email address is not written in the General tab, only name is there. It is also the same, when I use "git config --list".
Is there another way I can figure out my email address, which is attached to this workspace? Btw, my username is very likely my workspace name.
Cheers!

Hi @ST
Unfortunately, as per our privacy/security policies, we are unable to provide any personally identifiable information (such as email address) to users for accounts that are not registered under the email address used to raise the request.
I would suggest recalling any and all email addresses you may have used in the past and attempting to log in using these.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello @ST
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
As a user community we cannot access that information. But I have flagged your post to raise it to the attention of Atlassian Team Members. Somebody should respond within 2 business days.
Can you confirm here whether this concerns Bitbucket Cloud or a self-hosted Bitbucket environment?
