Hi Julie, once you add the user successfully you should get a confirmation in your screen, are you not getting this confirmation? If you need more assistance with this, can you please provide the following information?:

1. Are you using Bitbucket Server or Cloud?
2. Are you trying to add this user by his email address or by his username?
3. Can you send a screenshot of how are you trying to add this person?
