I am struggling to access my Bitbucket account linked to my GitHub. The email address is no longer available. I need to access my projects in that account.
Hi Zolile, Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Even if you originally used Login with GitHub, your Bitbucket account is linked to an Atlassian account with a primary email address.
Please try resetting your password using any email you may have used:
https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword
If you no longer have access to the email on the account, you’ll need to contact Atlassian Support. For security reasons, they cannot change or disclose the email without verification.

As @Gunjan Kumar has mentioned, no matter the login method - a Bitbucket Cloud user account is always tied to an Atlassian account, which is associated with the email that you would have used to login via GitHub.
However, if you no longer have access to the email account that you used to login, and you are not able to login to Bitbucket Cloud using the email address - unfortunately, there is nothing further that we may do. For security reasons (that are mandatory and cannot be bypassed) - users are required to authenticate via OTP whenever the login device itself (or the geo-location of the original device) has changed - this OTP challenge requires email access.
The suggestion in that case is to create a new Bitbucket Cloud workspace, and push any local backups you may have on your machine to this new workspace:
Cheers!
- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
