Hey @Deven Shah

Welcome to the community...

In the current situation, I would suggest you dissable/reset 2FA on BitBucket Cloud account by following the page how-to-disable-reset-2fa-on-bitbucket-cloud-and-atlassian-account

As discussed on the page

  • After the 24-hour waiting period, you will receive a secondary email with the aforementioned one-time login link.

  • Please note that the recovery link will expire in 24 hours

  • Follow the instructions within the email, and you should then be able to log in to your Bitbucket Cloud account with 2FA disabled

I hope this helps...

Best Regards

Hi @Deven Shah  👋

Unfortunately, if you’ve lost access to your 2FA device and don’t have your recovery codes, you won’t be able to log in directly.
However, there are a few steps you can take depending on your account type:

If your Bitbucket account is linked to an Atlassian account (bitbucket.org login):
➡ Go to https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword and reset your password first.
➡ Then, visit the official Atlassian account recovery form:
Select:

  • “Bitbucket Cloud” → “Login & 2FA issues” → “I can’t access my account due to 2FA”.

Atlassian support will verify your identity (they may ask for repo names, admin email domain, etc.) and help you regain access.

If you’re part of an organization:
Ask your site admin or organization admin to open a support ticket — they can confirm ownership and request 2FA reset on your behalf.

Once you regain access, make sure to:

  • Re-enable 2FA on your new device,

  • Download and securely store recovery codes (Bitbucket → Personal settings → Two-step verification → Recovery codes).

💡 Even if your phone number is the same, 2FA is tied to your authenticator app instance, not your SIM, so it must be re-linked.
