How to run git gc?

My last commit exceeded the size in the repository and I wanted to run git gc but how?

Hi,

Let Bitbucket do the housekeeping for you if possible. But if you really need to some manual work regarding git garbage collection, then please read this article:

Thank for answer, but this solution fits for remote servers, but not for repository in attached to my account :(
