I just started using 1Password, which encouraged me to set up 2FA on Atlassian. That I did, and it works fine. But then when I tried to do the same thing on Bitbucket, something seems to have gotten screwed up. It claims that I set up 2FA successfully, but now when I try to get into Bitbucket, it barfs on what it considers an "Invalid two-step verification code." Funny, atlassian.com seems to be perfectly happy with 1Password, but bitbucket.com doesn't.
Plus, I had dutifully saved the only recovery key that either site ever gave me, but that may have been for atlassian.com and not for bitbucket.com? Nor did anything initially tell me that I should stash several recovery keys because they are single use and it's easy to consume them profligately?
Am I out of luck?
