How do I rename my Bitbucket username with one that I deleted recently

I created an account, chose a username and then deleted the account and created a new one with a different email address. I try to take the same username and I get "An account with that name already exists". How long will it take for the username to become available so that I choose this again as my username for the second account?

Seems that I made a mistake and the username is taken from someone else after all. It is "kpapa".
