How do I allow repository access to people who do not have a bitbucket account.

I tried to follow the details here

but I can't find a Permissions section in Settings

Hi @gexarcha , welcome to the Community!

The article you linked is referring to Bitbucket Server, so I'll assume that's the platform you're using.

You need to have admin permissions to be able to make the repository publicly available. If you're certain that you have admin permissions and can't still find the option under Settings > Repository (under 'Permissions') > Enable (under 'Public Access'), please let us know and send us a screenshot so we can continue helping you.

I can't see it.. you mean the repository settings, right? btw the repository belons to a community

Hi @gexarcha , thanks for the screenshot, now I can see that you're actually using Bitbucket Cloud.

You need to click on Repository details (on the top left) and then uncheck the box 'Access level: This is a private repository'. However, note that although this will make your repository public, users will need to have a Bitbucket Cloud account to see it. The difference with a private repository is that you don't need to grant them access and they won't count towards your user limit. For more info you can read Set repository privacy.
