Hi,

While creating a branch permission for write access with branch patterns, not all available groups and users are listed in the dropdown.

Is it the case that only users/groups with admin privilege can be added to individual branch permissions?

Thanks.

Hi Shinto,

Do those groups have permission to access the repo? They don't need admin permissions, but they need permissions to access the repo.

If you're still having issues, can you let us know the name of the repo so we can have a look?

Best regards,

Ana

Thank you Ana.

The group I was looking for, had read access to the repo. Still it was not showing up in the branch permission drop-down. When I logged out and logged in, it started showing up in the list.

I had one other question, how can I give access to a group to create a branch with a particular prefix. I know I can use the branch patern, but which overall permission (read, write, admin) should I give to the group, prior to adding the branch permissions?
