Git Clone Error When using Depth

This is a small repo we've had for about six months.  When I attempt to clone it using depth it fails.  I found this because i'm trying to clone a much larger repository and also failing.

I would point out that LFS is enabled on both repositories.  Our BitBucket version is 

• Atlassian Bitbucket v5.12.0
• Git: 2.20.1.windows.1

I also encountered this problem, cocoapods default pull code to use
Git clone https://xxx.xxx.xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx.git --template= --single-branch --depth 1 --branch 0.1.2
