Getting I/O error when accessing URL: /rest/api/1.0/projects/A00003-IAC-COOKBOOKS

we are using Bitbucket Source plugin .The plugin works fine with HTTP bitbucket but gives

I/O error when accessing URL: /rest/api/1.0/projects/A00003-IAC-COOKBOOKS

for https .I added cerrtificates .Below is the error in jenkins

The certificate(s) you have installed are not valid.  You'll need to use certificates that are.

we are using self signed certs

That's no problem.  The problem here is that the certificates you have installed are not valid.  You'll need to install valid ones.
