GIT- Incremental clone large repositories

I am new to GIT & can some one please explain  me whether it's possible to have Incremental GIT clones in Bit-Bucket-Cloud , since cloning get interrupt while cloning large repositories in week internet .If not at least please provide a workaround to avoid this case.

Some users stated that after they upgrade to the 64 bit version of the application they did not run into an issue anymore.

One user suggested that you download the repository as a zip from the website. Then load into a new clean repository.

Alternatively you can specify a history depth when pulling which might help.
