Hi,
It seems that email notifications on bb issue tracker events stopped working for me and my teammates within last few weeks. I tried opening an issue, adding a comment, mentioning a teammate, no notifications at all. I didn't change anything in the configuration. This is happenning across all my workspaces and repositories. I also tried adding a email address to 'mail lists' under repository settings, nothing changed, still no emails.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Hello @nixhr
I flagged your topic for Atlassian Support.
It is possible that your email address landed on an internal suppression list, so they need to check that from their side.
Best,
Arkadiusz🤠
Hey @nixhr,
We're not seeing your email nor any of the other user's emails in our internal suppression list for the workspace associated with your name.
We have a knowledge base article at Email notifications not working in Bitbucket Cloud, outlining several scenarios and solutions. For your case, could you please review the following section:
Please let us know the outcome, so that we can continue to investigate if the above doesn't resolve the issue.
Thanks.

Hey @nixhr,
After checking internally, I can confirm that several native Bitbucket email notifications have recently been deprecated. This is part of a broader effort to sunset certain features, such as Bitbucket Issues and Wikis, in favour of more robust solutions like Jira.
The following notifications are among those that have been removed:
Issue Created / Issue Updated
Issue Create Mention / Issue Comment Mention
Issue Import/Export status
Wiki and Snippet notifications
Because these features are being phased out, the associated email notifications are no longer being sent by the product. You can find more details regarding the sunset of Bitbucket Issues and Wikis in our announcement: Announcing sunset of Bitbucket Issues and Wikis.
Workarounds and Recommendations:
We understand this change impacts your workflow, and we recommend the following alternatives to stay updated on repository activity:
Slack Integration: If your team uses Slack, you can subscribe a channel to repository activity. Our tests confirm that "Issue created," "Issue assigned," and "Issue updated" events are still delivered successfully via the Integrate Bitbucket Cloud with Slack | Bitbucket Cloud | Atlassian Support.
Jira Service Management/Jira Software: For a more comprehensive issue-tracking experience with full notification support, you can also consider migrating your issue tracking to Jira.
Webhooks: You can set up Bitbucket Cloud Webhooks to trigger on issue events. These can be used with external tools to generate your own email notifications. This is slightly complicated as you need to use external services.
