Does Atlassian allow bitbucket to be used to manage XML and HTML documents and image files

I manage 20 regulatory publications, all XML based source files, each broken in to many chapter files and content images (equations, diagrams, etc.), with multiple authors and editors in several locations. Each publication uses 30 to 50mb of space. BitBucket/git/Sourcetree is an excellent content management solution. It works great for my first test case. Next I want to load up all 20 publications.

QUESTION: Does Atlassian intend (allow) this type of usage in BitBucket

I get the answer I need from sales. As I understand it, a few images that support the code are acceptable. I also think that a 10 user account can have the 10 user accessing many private repositories.

John, are you requesting that we manage images in a different system, or maybe find an alternative to BitBucket? The images remain fairly static over the years, but they occasionally change and require configuration control along with the XML.

Is Stash a solution?

Can each publication be it's own repository, or should they all be in one repository? I ask because I am confussed by the way the number of "users" is calculated. Do 6 users with access to 20 private repositories count as 6 users, i.e a 10 user license?

We love XML/HTML/XHTML text-based source code, but we have no love for binary "content images" such as equations, diagrams, or any sort of bmp/gif/jpg/jpeg/mpg files.
