I didn't log in to my bitbucket account for years and now the email adress related to my account is inactive. I managed to login with the new email adress and the old password however can't find my repositories. Has anyone an advice? Thanks a lot.

Hi @MarlisH ,

Does the organization manage that email account, or are we referring to a private email address? I'm mainly asking due to

...email adress related to my account is inactive...

If you can access your old email (even temporarily), try to recover the original account or transfer repos to your new account.

You could also try to log out of all Atlassian/Bibucket sessions, clear your browser cache/cookies, and log in again using the correct email address.

For some Atlassian tools, such as Jira and Confluence, if you have free sites, there are retention policies where Atlassian will delete inactive sites (but Org admins will receive prior notification). I don't think there's such a thing for Bitbucket, but I might be wrong here.

I'm going to move this post to Bitbucket groups so someone can chime in if needed.

Finally, Atlassian Support can probably check if there's any data/repos on the workspace you're logging in, so you could reach out to them to see if their team can help out. 👀

Cheers,
Tobi
