Delete an Atlassian Account

I need to delete obsolete Atlassian accounts so I can consolidate the information under one username and remove a couple of obsolete email addresses.

I am using the https://id.atlassian.com/manage/close-account to do so.

I clicked the 'Close Account' button and the progress icon has been spinning for over 30 minutes.

Is that normal?
