Hi, I have an organization account with different user groups (let's say front-end developers, back-end developers etc.).

When i create a repository with my organization as owner, all the groups of the organizations have access to the new repository, this is annoying since i have to manually remove the group which i didn't want to give access, and when i remove them, they receive an email saying that their access has been revoked.

I would like to create a repository, with my organization as owner but not having by default all related teams having access to it, it is possible?

Hi Luca, welcome to the Community!

You need to adjust the permissions for those groups and make that by default, they don't have access to newly created repos. For more info you can read Create and grant access to team repositories.

Hope that helps!

Ana
