For the problem below, I want to know who pushed the code .Where/how can I find the record that show the user who pushed the code?

Problem

Frequently, new Bitbucket Server users believe that the user that pushes changes to Bitbucket Server should be the ones listed on the Author column of the commits displayed in the UI. Take for example, the following screen shot:

While the Author column displays "Integration Builder", the user that actually performed the commit, the user that pushed the code to the repository was actually a different user, "Test1".

Hello Ben and welcome to the Community!

To ensure I understand what you’re asking, you want to know who committed the code vs who (which user) pushed the code.

The short answer to this would be, the user who commits the code locally, and then pushes the commit to Bitbucket will need to ensure they link or authenticate with the appropriate account. If they do not authenticate properly, use the proper email address or user then the Bitbucket commit will not display correctly.

The longer answer can be found at Why does the wrong username show in my commit messages?

In short, this comes down to ensuring users are pushing to Bitbucket while using the proper email address/username.

I hope this proves helpful and assists with clarifying what is recorded when a commit is pushed to Bitbucket.
