I'm trying to authenticate to bitbucket in recovery mode because I forgot the admin's password using version 8.19.14.

I modified the _start-webapp.sh and inserted:

JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS=-Datlassian.recovery.password=xxxxxxx

I see the recovery admin username in the upper right hand corner.

I use the username provided and the password I provided in the _start-webapp.sh

I cannot login and I get the error message below:

ERROR [AtlassianEvent::thread-12] @R5AF78x1157x10x0 10.200.1.7 "POST /j_atl_security_check HTTP/1.1" c.a.stash.internal.crowd.RiotPolice Couldn't update the lastAuthenticationTimestamp attribute for YbzjX8BUb44xePZ56uAKKQ4g6Bz4s6Kgy78ThtSd5idUAhi8OK

Hi @Rod Simioni and welcome,

please check the following troubleshooting article https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/unable-to-login-to-bitbucket-even-with-lockout-recovery-process-1072217000.html

It seems exactly your error.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
