Since a couple of days, I can't access or see my workspace anymore. I clicked on my avatar - all workspaces, but only see my personal/empty workspace. Bitbucket seems to have removed the access to my workspace.
I recently got an email from them:
We have noticed that your workspace *** is currently empty. It hasn't been used in over 6 months, and it contains no repositories.
This workspace is going to be deactivated on November 12th, 2025, and is scheduled for deletion on December 9, 2025.
But this concerned my personal workspace and not the one I created separately that did contain multiple repositories and on which I have been active.
I'm in the same boat. A workspace in my account has basically been nuked, without explicitly telling me that this was going to happen. The repos in the Workspace are very much active, but apparently since the parent account was deemed dormat, someone's hit the kill switch.
Fantastic, Atlassian. Great work.
My workspace somehow appeared again today. It's strange, it was gone for about a week.

Yeah. I got an email saying that basically, they messed up. That email also referenced this, which you have probably also received.

Yes I got that one about my personal workspace. It was a good lesson, I'm now storing my sources in both Bitbucket and Github, to be less dependent on a single company.
