We do not have a complete backup of our repository. Is it possible to have the repository restored from the cloud backup Atlassian is doing?
Hey @MyPrivacy GmbH_
Welcome to the community!
Could you please share with me the URL of the affected repository that was deleted if you haven't raised a support ticket with us yet?
Regards,
Syahrul
Hi Syahrul,
We are interested in every repository which was accessable from https://bitbucket.org/mypy-cto.
I have not raised a ticket yet, the wizzard always leads me to community or guides.
Best regards,
Guenter

Hello @MyPrivacy GmbH_ ,
It’s best to raise a ticket with Atlassian Support regarding this issue: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
From what I’ve seen in Community discussions, Atlassian may sometimes be able to restore deleted Bitbucket repositories if the deletion occurred within the last 7 days.
However, according to the Atlassian Cloud Shared Responsibility Model, Atlassian does not back up customer data — that responsibility lies with the customer.
To ensure your data is protected and backed up, you can use Atlassian’s options, such as Zero Downtime Backup or DIY Backup, or rely on third-party backup solutions like GitProtect Backup & Disaster Recovery software for Bitbucket, which provide comprehensive protection and fast recovery options.
