My pipelines hang indefinitely when using Brave Browser (Chromium based) but slightly more strict.

Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/...repo-info.../?&page=1&pagelen=10&sort=-created_on' from origin 'https://bitbucket-pipelines.prod.public.atl-paas.net' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: Redirect is not allowed for a preflight request.

I get the XMLHttpRequest error over and over so long as the browser continues to request the pipeline info.

Hello Brandon and welcome to the Community!

The Brave browser is a good browser to use and is a solid alternative to the mainstream browsers out there. Something to keep in mind is that Brave is not officially supported yet. The supported browsers are as follows:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Edge

Source document: Which browsers does Bitbucket support?

With this said, there is a submitted feature request to bring Brave under support. You may find more at that feature request at Add Brave browser support. We would suggest you vote and watch this request to receive future updates on its status.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
