Does bitbucket have lagging? I realized that source file edited did not show up in the browser I just created, opening the different browser (firefox) from the same computer, I can see the new directory and the new source get created. From time to time, I get Bad Request (400) on certain source file but on different files, they get created. Sometimes it says, bitbucket unable to create the file and it has been placed on temporary location that I need to merge it. A lot of inconsistencies. I never experienced such an issue with Github.
Need to Sign out and cleared Cookies and Cache in every single Browser (Opera, Chrome, Firefox) in any computers. Need to do this same process every other day. Otherwise, the committed source will not show up at all. It also not allowing editing existing source with "Cannot Edit the head of the branch"
Hi!
Which browser are you using? The fact that when you switch to a different browser you can see the changes makes me think that there might be something in your current browser that is delaying the operations. Can you clear cache and cookies and see if this still keeps happening?
When you use Firefox, do you also get those inconsistencies?
Also, make sure you're using one of the Supported browsers.
Hope that helps!
Ana

We have the same issue on our repo. We've just moved across from GitHub to BitBucket and have the same problem where files added to the repo don't show up in the Web UI unless we hard refresh. Sometimes going via the `Source` panel on the left will cause files to show up, but then digging into the code directory tree and using the breadcrumbs above show old views with missing files.
We never had this issue with GitHub and is making it impossible to use the product - we even get 400 errors when trying to directly link to files from the UI that exist in the repo.
Can you urgently provide a resolution otherwise we'll have to move our team back to GitHub.

Sorry to hear that you have similar issues. I thought I was crazy. The issues seem to be highly inconsistent. It has something to do with browser and timing. Often, I am not able to create or edit a source file. There are times, source files and directories do not even appear but they exist inside the Commit panel. Though sometimes, the source file created simply not existing anywhere in the repository after 10-15 minutes or so, they appear in the Source panel. So, I believed the issue not entirely related to Browser caching but lagging from bitbucket and discrepancy between Source and Commit. These issues can be challenging if you have a big team to collaborate on a project.

Hi there,
Do you have the beta new Source View enabled in your BitBucket settings? We've turned that off and the problem has been fixed. See https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/16877/unable-to-view-newly-pushed-files-with-new .
Hope that helps!
