I am developing an app that has integrations with both Bitbucket and Github. The github integration allows me to let me users install the Github app to a Github Organization and therefore allow permissions for organization repositories.
My Bitbucket app is an oauth consumer. This makes sense to me because the app is a server side only app. However, I don't see a way for me to ask my users to give my oauth consumer access to repositories at a workspace level or an organization account level. It seems like they can only give permissions to the oauth consumer at the user account level.
Is there something I'm missing or will I just have to ask my users to set up a user account that has access to any repositories they want to allow my app to have access to?
Thanks
Barry
Hi Barry and welcome to the community!
I haven't been involved with app development so I'm not sure if that's possible.
I just wanted to suggest posting your question in our developer community as well, as it is specific to app development:
Kind regards,
Theodora
