Are there any consequences in regards of the repository by removing a user(developer) from a bitbuck

A developer dropped out and we want to remove the user from our bitbucket team. There is only the function "remove" not the possibility to set the user "inactive" in the user managment therefor I want to make sure that there is no impact on the repository when I remove this developer from out bitbucket team. Hope s.o. can help me our here.

Hi Julia, there are no consequences in removing one user from a repository, apart from this user not being able to access it anymore. The contents he he has contributed to the repository will remain there. Was there anything more specific that concerned you?
