what the difference is, to the user and or administrator between the LDAP and Non-LDAP Bamboo

Basically wondering if to the average User of Bamboo, and or administrator; do they go about there business any differently because they are using the LDAP version versus the Non-LDAP version?

What will be if connection to LDAP will not work, can you login ?

Therefore Atlassian documentation suggest to have non-ldap admin account for emergency :)
