I'm running Bamboo-server on my machine using
$> docker volume create --name bambooVolume
$> docker run -v bambooVolume:/var/atlassian/application-data/bamboo --name="bamboo" --init -d -p 54663:54663 -p 8085:8085 atlassian/bamboo-server
as directed in the docs
I then logon to localhost:8085, Administration, Agents, Install remote agent.
The agent installs and requests authentication successfully but gets assigned the IP 172.17.0.1 which is the default gateway of the bridge network of the bamboo-server container.
The "Online remote agents" tab keeps listing "A remote agent is loading on localhost (172.17.0.1)" but it never loads.
Any suggestions as to how I could resolve this issue?
Thanks
In case anyone else runs into this I had to update the broker port URI as described in this article.
