Not sure if this can be done. I've a Dependency Sub-Plan that performs a common task for all Build Plans. I don't want deployments to trigger from the Sub-Plan (or all deployments would happen), only the Parent, but the Deployment happens even if the Sub-Plan fails.
The Deployment Trigger is the Parent Plan successfully building
