Can i call bamboo tasks like functions ?

hi,

for my requirement . i have to call a task i have written previously again in the same plan.

is this possible ? ie. use tasks like function calls . 

the task is just a ssh script with other few commands

This is not possible as such for tasks in general - that being said, given you are using the Bamboo Script task, you could store your script in a repository and use a Script location of type File rather than Inline:

Script location
Select the location of the script file.

• File — enter the location of the file in the Script file field. This can be either relative to the repository root of the plan, or absolute. You can include variables (see Bamboo variables).
• Inline — enter the script in the Script body field.

Besides allowing reuse across jobs, storing such scripts either together with the source code or in a dedicated repository for cross project CI/CD features is also recommended to ensure scripts are properly versionized.
