Can I use an ec2 instance I create as a remote agent for Bamboo?

For a variety of reasons, I'd like to use a dedicated EC2 instance that I've set up / configured as an agent for running bamboo builds. Searching the forum, it doesn't look like this is possible with Elastic Bamboo.

Is there any way I can do this with Atlassian OnDemand?

No, only self hosted Bamboo offers this atm.
