In bamboo you can receive a notification when a build succeeds (green), fails (red), when it changes between the two, such as
"Change of Build Status
Bamboo will send a notification only when there has been a change in status of the plan's build activity over consecutive plan builds — for example, only whenever a plan's latest build changes from successful to failed or vice versa (i.e. 'fixed').
HOWEVER ... I want to receive a notification when build does not start (grey icon, aka Not Built). For some reason that is not considered a "Change of Build Status". I get emails when a build fails and when it is successful again, but not when it does not start. A build cannot start if the harddrive is full, for example. We're using bamboo server 5.9.7 and here's a screenshot of the icon
Does anyone know how to configure a bamboo notification to be sent when a scheduled build does not start?
Hey Chad,
I have created a feature request for you regarding this functionality.
Please be sure to watch it, and vote on it, so that you're notified if this is implemented in a future release. For your reference, you can find our policy on how we prioritize feature and improvement requests at this page. You can also add a comment to the feature request to explain your specific use-case to the developers.
