Hi Folks,
This is a Bamboo question. All build plans are Maven-based (Maven 3.6.3).
I seem to have an issue with parent-child maven build dependencies when the parent project has pom packaging.
I have a build plan for a "parent" project, and one for a "child" project. The child nominates "parent" as its parent, and the "parent" has packaging=pom (distinct from the default packaging=jar).
Under "Maven dependencies" in Bamboo:
1. The Child build plan does not reflect maven dependency on the parent.
2. The parent project does not reflect that it is "used by" any other project.
The above is despite the fact that other dependencies, specifically maven dependencies on artefacts which ARE built by Bamboo, are reflected and seem to be reflected correctly.
The consequence of the above is that, when "parent" is rebuilt, "child" is NOT triggered for a rebuild.
If anyone can help please answer here.
Many thanks, Robin.
EDIT: My Bamboo version is 7.0.4
