Iโm excited to share a new capability that lets you sync your teams directly from Workday into Atlassian Teams!
Now, you can automatically bring your organizational teams into Atlassian using data from your Workday. By syncing your teams from your Workday, youโll always have a single, reliable source of truthโno more manual updates or duplicate team lists across different systems.
Any Atlassian customer using Workday connectors to bring in organization data can use this feature.
Centralized Team Management: Manage all your teams in one place, cut down on admin work, and keep everything consistent.
A Trusted Source: Teams synced from your Workday are verified and marked as managed teams, so itโs easy to tell which teams are the right ones to use.
Automatic Updates: When something changes in your Workday (like team membership or names), itโs automatically updated in Atlassian Teams.
Better Governance: You can confidently manage business processes, knowing your teams are always up to date.
Connected Work: Teams become the backbone across Atlassian apps, helping you plan from the top down and execute from the bottom up.
As an org admin, you choose which Workday connector to use for team sync.
Teams are created, updated, or removed in Atlassian based on changes in your Workday.
When someoneโs team assignment changes in Workday, their Atlassian team membership updates automatically.
If a team is removed from your Workday, itโs also deleted in Atlassian to keep everything in sync.
